About this tool
Meme / Sticker Overlay drops impact-font captions on top of an image, just like the classic imagemacro. The image is processed in your browser; nothing uploads.
How it works
- Pick an image (any reasonable size). Wide-format photos (16:9 or similar) work best.
- Type a top caption and a bottom caption in the side panel.
- The renderer scales the font to 1/12 of the image width — keep the captions short so they stay legible.
- By default the captions use Impact / Arial Black with a black outline for high contrast against any background. Toggle the outline off, or pick any colors you want via the color pickers.
- The emoji palette adds a sticker to the bottom-caption text. Use it for reactions, manga-style decoration, or just to spice up a caption.
Output
The final image is a PNG you can save with one click. The file size is roughly the same as the source image.
Limitations
- The font choice is whatever the browser has that matches “Impact” / “Arial Black”. On Linux without those installed, the fallback may look slightly thinner.
- Line breaking is limited — long captions won’t wrap automatically. Stay under ~30 chars per line.

Pure canvas rendering, no upload.
Tip: aspect-ratio
Square images work too. The text just becomes more space-padded on the top and bottom edges.
