BoxrTools

Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 8, 2026

Short version: BoxrTools does not collect, store, transmit, or sell any of your input data. All tool processing happens locally in your browser.

1. Information We Collect

We collect almost nothing. Specifically:

  • No input data. When you paste text into a BoxrTools tool, it never leaves your device. We do not log, store, or transmit it.
  • No personal information. We do not require accounts, email addresses, or names.
  • Standard server logs. Cloudflare Pages, our hosting provider, may log standard request metadata (IP address, user agent, requested URL). These logs are used solely for abuse prevention and operational debugging, are retained for a short period, and are not shared with us beyond aggregated counts.

2. Cookies and Local Storage

BoxrTools sets one local-storage value: your theme preference (light or dark mode). We use no advertising cookies, no tracking cookies, and no third-party analytics scripts that store cross-site identifiers.

3. Analytics

We may use privacy-friendly analytics (such as Plausible or self-hosted Umami) to understand aggregate traffic patterns. These tools do not use cookies and do not collect personal identifiers.

4. Advertising

BoxrTools is free, and may display advertising through Google AdSense or similar programs once traffic thresholds are met. These ad networks use cookies to serve ads. You can opt out via Google Ad Settings or DAA opt-out.

5. Children

BoxrTools is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

6. Changes

We may update this policy occasionally. Material changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date above.
